Direct from the Director: Family Wisdom

Yesterday we celebrated Family Day. Whether it is our immediate family, extended family or our LDCSB family Pope Francis and others offer us their wisdom.
  • Say These Three Words: Please, Thank you, Sorry.
  • Do the Little Things.
  • Keep Dreaming!
  • Make Time to Play! The wisdom of playing with our children.
  • Pray Together.
  • Accept Your Imperfections.
  • Be Patient.
  • Look to Our Elders.
  • Set an Example.
“When all the dust is settled, and all the crowds are gone, the things that matter are faith, family and friends."
Barbara Bush.

“Family isn’t always blood. It’s the people in your life who want you in theirs. The ones who accept you for you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what." Unknown.

“Families are the compass that guide us. They are the inspiration to reach great heights, and our comfort when we occasionally falter.” Brad Henry

During these times of labour action we continue to pray for a resolution. We pray also for all members of our community as we support each other during these challenging times.
