Tell Your Friends and Neighbors: We Are Growing, and We are Hiring
As you may know, the London area is one of the fastest growing regions in Canada and the LDCSB is one of the fastest growing school boards in the province. Our student population has increased by one third over the past seven years, from 18,000 to 24,000 students, and we continue to welcome new students to our schools every day.

Our student population has increased by one third over the past seven years, from 18,000 to 24,000 students, and we continue to welcome new students to our schools every day.
The rapid growth is forecast to continue for the foreseeable future. According to some reports, the city of London population will go from 420,000 almost 650,000 by 2050. If the LDCSB grows at the same rate, our student population could increase to roughly 37,000 students in the same timeframe.
This rapid growth means we are facing new challenges. We are hiring staff at an unprecedented rate. If you, a family member, friend or neighbor is interested in teaching or working with the LDCSB, please encourage them to visit our website to learn more! https://www.ldcsb.ca/
